CORONOVIRUS FACTS:
Human coronaviruses cause infections of the nose, throat and lungs
Direct Human to Human infection is caused by respiratory droplets generated when you cough or sneeze (or even talk or breath.)
OR
Close, prolonged personal contact, such as touching or shaking hands
Secondary infection is caused when the virus is deposited on a surface by an infected person and then transferred to a persons' face, mouth, nose or eyes before washing your hands.
CDC (USA) now recommends wearing a face mask by the public, as does Canada's Chief Health Officer Dr. Theresa TAM.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) only provides information on MEDICAL face masks advising that "If you are healthy, you only need to wear a mask if you are taking care of a person with suspected 2019-nCoV infection" and "Wear a mask if you are coughing or sneezing."
THE AUTHOR SUGGESTS THAT FOR LAW MAKERS TO ENACT LEGISLATION FOR THE MANDATORY WEARING OF CLOTH FACE MASKS BY THE PUBLIC, THESE HEALTH AUTHORITIES MUST RECOMMEND THIS.
